Biatain Alginate Dressing Coloplast

Biatain Alginate is a highly absorbent dressing designed for moderately to heavily exuding wounds. It is suitable for use on leg and foot ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and cavity wounds. The dressing is made from a blend of alginate and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC) which forms a gel upon contact with wound exudate, creating a moist healing environment. This gel helps to manage exudate, minimize the risk of maceration, and can be easily removed from the wound bed.
